Lawrence Virtual School
Middle School Academy (Grades 6-8)
Live online classes daily, Monday through Thursday, led by highly qualified certified teachers. Teachers engage with students individually through bi-weekly one-on-one conferences to provide additional academic support. These conferences are mutually and collaboratively agreed upon by the homeroom teacher and learning coach/student before the start of the semester. Math, ELA, science, and social studies courses are offered at the middle school level. Math and ELA interventions are available weekly to support students.
LVS Secondary Model
Lawrence Virtual School runs on Schoology Learning and follows a structured schedule similar to a traditional in-person school. Certified teachers lead each course live twice a week, with all sessions recorded so students can revisit lessons at any time. Fridays are screen-light days with no live classes, giving students dedicated time for assignments, clubs, assemblies, and one-on-one conferences.
